Ashlynn Prasad
I recently completed a dual Master's degree in Archival Studies and Library and Information Studies at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, and am currently based in the Vancouver area while I search for jobs. I am lucky to live on the ancestral and unceded homelands of the hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ and Sḵwx̱wú7mesh speaking peoples. I earned a double bachelor's degree from the University of California at Santa Cruz in Modern Literature and American History. I was honored to be selected as a 2017-2019 ARL/SAA Mosaic Fellow. My professional interests include diversifying the archival world and lifting up the voices of marginalized communities, particularly in academic library settings.
