Since 2004, Dylan McDonald has served as the Deputy City Historian and Manuscripts Archivist at the Center for Sacramento History. He formerly worked at the Idaho State Archives while earning his MA in History at Boise State University. He teaches the Archives & Manuscripts course in the graduate public history program at California State University, Sacramento, and has been an active member of SAA since 2001 and SCA since 2004. Dylan serves on the board of the California Council for the Promotion of History, the California Historical Records Advisory Board, and is a Certified Archivist.
