202 - Culture, Competencies, and Colleagues: a Cafe on divers*

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Join us in a World Café to engage topics of culturally competent archival work, including racially conscious description, professional development, and community archives. Thinking about our work toward professional and collection diversity and exploring examples of inclusivity, small focus groups consider how cultural competency development can embrace international experiences, encourage community-based work, and explore inclusive description. We will collaboratively develop archival practices that are culturally competent across gender, race, sexuality, nationality, and other identity markers.
