The Oral History Section looks forward to connecting with members in Portland. Our regular business meeting will include an introduction of the Oral History Association's Metadata Task Force presented by Jaycie Vos and Steven Sielaff. Our featured programing will focus on the role of oral histories in documenting social movements and strategies for conducting oral history interviews in the moment. Katrina Vandeven of the Women's March on Washington Archives Project and representatives of the local network group GroundswellOregon will discuss practices and projects in documenting social movements with oral histories. An open discussion will follow the presentation to pose questions and share experiences.
