Open Forums: Always Already Computational: Collections as Data

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

In 2016, the Institute of Museum and Library Services funded a National Forum initiative to develop a strategic approach to developing, describing, providing access to, and encouraging reuse of archival and library collections that support computationally-driven research and teaching.  Join members of the grant team for an interactive discussion about how archival objects fit into this model of collections as data. They will explore outcomes from the initial National Forum meeting and brainstorm ideas for new approaches, tools, and documentation.
