F08 - The Plateau Peoples' Web Portal: A Digital Archive Website Used Collaboratively by the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs Archives and Washington State University Libraries

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Presenters share their experiences of working on a collaborative digital archive called The Plateau Peoples' Web Portal. The Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs is one of several Plateau region tribes using the Portal to access, use, curate, and enrich digital copies of tribal materials held in university and federal repositories. The discussion covers an institutional perspective about the creation of the Portal and a community-based perspective about the use of the Portal. We hope to share many ideas for project planning, collaboration, using web-based platforms, and tips for similar digital projects through discussion!
