310 - Beyond the Finding Aid: New Directions for Archival Description

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Archivists are accustomed to finding aids, but as technology provides new options for description and discovery, some archivists are asking whether the finding aid is the best tool for all of our materials. Featuring archivists from the corporate, public, and academic sector who work with both manuscript collections and institutional archives who will moderate discussion groups, this session provides attendees with the opportunity to explore the future of archival description with colleagues.
